New York State Office of Mental Health

New York State Office of Mental Health provides resources and advice to all New Yorkers and has some that might be particularly interesting to Veterans.

The first of these are "Buddy Checks: A Vital Mission"

In the military, you learned to take care of your battle buddies. That mission continues as a Veteran. Check in with a buddy and find out how they are doing. That seemingly simple act can change someone’s life.

Not sure how to start? Want to learn more? New York State’s Office of Mental Health has some ideas for you. You can find out more information about the Office of Mental Health’s “Just Checking In” program by clicking here.

Family Mental Health Resources
