A United States flag is provided, at no cost, to drape the casket or accompany the urn of a deceased Veteran who served honorably in the U. S. Armed Forces.
If you are a qualified U.S. military Veteran, who was honorably discharged or received a general discharge under honorable circumstances, and you have a NYS driver license, learner permit or non-driver photo ID card, you can have the word "Veteran" printed on the upper left hand of your photo document.
Veterans and military members have the option of ordering custom plates through the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles reflecting of their military service or affiliation.
