Disabled Veterans

Whether you fought in World War II, returned home yesterday, or were injured in training, as a disabled Veteran, you deserve to receive every benefit earned through your service to our nation. Our state and nation owe a debt of gratitude for writing a blank check.  Regardless of where you were stationed or your job, injuries happen. You may be eligible for benefits resulting from your service.  The New York State Division of Veterans' Affairs (NYS DVA) will advocate on your behalf to assist you the rest of the way.  As a disabled Veteran, you and your family are entitled to special New York State programs, such as the Military Service Recognition Scholarships for your dependents, the Veterans with Disabilities Employment Program, and park passes for qualifying Veterans.
